Hmm… Malacca chicken rice is one of the famous Malacca food, maybe not for local Malacca people, but for out station people like me. I like to eat chicken rice, especially Malacca one. Malacca Chicken rice got one special style, which the rice is “rice ball”.

These chicken rice hawker so creative to design those rice into ball type, actually i also dont know why rice ball, just eat la no care. lol So i go for this hainanese chicken rice shop which near OCBC Bank there, besides Jonker Street. It’s a good place for lunch, as they didnt provide dinner service. So be early there, as many people eat there everyday.

I was there about 11am plus, full house & no table at all. After a while, i only can have table as we got 2 people only(* side seat). Waiter comes to us very fast, & i have order less than half chicken, two ice lemon(* many people there order ice lemon, so i also order ice lemon… nice ah!).

As conclusion, chicken very fresh & hot, super nice!!! Unfortunately, rice ball have cool down & tasteless. I’m the one who like hot & “oily” yellow chicken rice, maybe rice ball not suit to me. 🙁 So, we have a quick lunch there, about 35min then we leave… because too many people stand beside & looking at you, pai seh.

Hope their boss will extend the building in future, place quite small & table were close. If can, install air-conditional then will be perfect!!!
