Mission: Impossible III

December 15th, 2005 | 11:58:50 am
Scott Weinberg writes: “Fans of the “Impossible” can check out the early teaser for “MI:3″ by heading on over to Yahoo! Movies while wondering if J.J. Abrams can follow the act laid down by Brian de Palma and John Woo.

The plot of “Mission: Impossible 3″ is being kept fairly under wraps, but I think we can all assume the flick will be packed with spies, bad guys, and women easy on the eyes. Fans are expecting big things from “Alias” creator J.J. Abrams, and there’s no good reason to think the guy won’t deliver.

Co-starring with franchise man Tom Cruise are Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Crudup, and Michelle Monaghan. “Mission: Impossible 3″ opens on May 5th.”

News on the MI:3 sequel and Alias DVDs
The timing couldn’t have been better. J.J. Abrams has just been confirmed as the new director of Mission: Impossible 3 and he was available for interviews promoting the soon to be release Alias Season Three DVD. Naturally, we began with the M:I 3 questions but managed to move into the DVD and the upcoming fourth season of Alias. The DVD features commentaries, a behind-the-scenes feature on location dressing (Making Olive Ave. look like a different country every week, as Abrams puts it) and an animated Sidney Bristow adventure.
