Ah Kwong & Friends

If you’re loyalty Fans of Vincy Wing Yee Chan, you should know about her meet-the-fans activities on last weekend, at Sungei Wang Plaza. As we know, Vincy Wing Yee Chan live in Genting concert held on 31st of May 2008. Besides promo her live in genting concert, she meet bunch of oversea and Local Fans who came from Singapore, Hong Kong and other places. Recently, she have released her 3rd album “Close to you”, one of the hottest and popular album in Malaysia and also overseas.

One of my closed friends fatty told me that he didn’t took artist events photo long time ago, so we decide to have a look on Vincy Wing Yee Live at Genting Meet the fans roadshows. Crowd of people surround in front of the stage before event get started. Not much of photographer participant on photo shooting events except those from media side. Anston and Fatty along, and we meet up some blogger like LogicYuan and his friends.

Vincy Chan is a female Cantopop singer from Hong Kong. She is signed under the Emperor Entertainment Group label, having debuted with the album ‘Vincy’ on July 27, 2006.

Chan was amongst the top 24 contestants in Project Superstar, a Singaporean singing competition held in June 2005 after graduating from Nanyang Technological University. She was also runner-up and won the award “Most Popular Image” in Emperor Entertainment Group’s New Talent Singing Awards in 2005. Later on, she became more well-known amongst the Hong Kong public when her song ‘My Feelings’ (Chinese: 感應), a Cantonese rendition of Freya Lin’s ‘一個人生活’, debuted.

Vincy Wing Yee Chan looks young and pretty, she born October 16th 1982 at Singapore, growth up from Hong Kong.( OMG she same age with me but she look more younger!!!!) She have pretty good singing skill, and she is one of the successful singer 2006 compare with Janice & Justin. Soon, we can meet Janice aka Janice M. Vidal on coming Friday, Sungei Wang Plaza for her Janice Concert Promo Tour, 8pm.

Then, what next about?

Last Saturday, i followed few of my friends to Sungei Wang, there was Seed Spring/Summer 2008 collection launch fashion show. Seriously i long time didn’t do shooting on fashion show since pavilion fashion week till last week. Just like previous time, lot of photographer waiting in front of the stage before fashion show get started. Besides, we found some friends over there but didnt manage to remember his name.. hehe..

Fatty, Nkwai & Anston was there too, just Nkwai didn’t join us shooting only. Seed Spring/Summer 2008 collection Launch model provided by Andrew’s models, and more fashion show cat walk season head on 5th and 6th April 2008 at Sungei Wang Plaza.

Seed is one of the famous brand under Padini, Padini is mainly an integrated operation that controls its products - fashion wear and accessories - from concept stage to manufacturing, merchandising and image marketing. Padini consists of 8 distinct brand: Padini, Padini Authentics, PDI, P & Co, Seed, and Miki. Besides, Seed also provide snack and meal service through Seed Cafe, to combine shopping and eating together which founded in the year 2000.

During Chinese New Year, i spent about 4 days 3 night travel back to my parents hometown Kampar, and Ipoh also Penang for meet up some of friends. 4 days 3 night doesn’t playful enough for me, as rushing places all the way because traffic jam mar. 1st night i go visit Ipoh friends, then up to Penang the next day, reach penang around 7pm. What we done there just only photo shooting on Kek Lok Si Temple. And, we head back to Kampar on 3rd day. I think we have spent more than 5 hour travel back to Kampar that day. What i will cover in this post is last day, before i back to Kuala Lumpur, and this is ending of my CNY 4 days 3 night exclusive eat eat walk walk trip lol.

Actually Kampar not my hometown, just my parents from Kampar, and i used to stay Kampar when i was child. Kampar just a small town, which consist of few street, and it is peaceful compare with Kuala Lumpur. You can found 4 roll of unrenovated old style shophouse over this small town, and mini Japan garden at Kampar. Fully recommend for photo shooting such as model portrait or flora and fauna. Now, there is new kampar consist of new residential developments, and also university, Kampar hotel and also new commercial area. Lucky, it still connected with old kampar. Kampar is a town in the state of Perak, Malaysia. The town lies within the Kinta Valley, an area rich with tin reserves. It is situated due south of Simpang Pulai. It was a tin mining town which boomed during the heights of the tin mining industry. There used to be many tin mines on the outskirts of Kampar, but most have closed down following the collapse of the industry. Kampar was established in 1887.

The booms and busts of Kampar followed the vicissitudes of the mining industry. Most of them were established in the late 19th century, flourished in the 1900s, only to stagnate and decline after World War I, with the exception of an exhilarating boom in the 1920s.

This lake located the way back to Tapah, nearby a very small and peaceful town. I still remember many people who passby look forward to us, and though we’re those who capture speed trap lol. How i know? will show u those picture. Hot, sunny and nice cloud that day, i took not much of photo as need to rushing back to Kuala Lumpur asap that day.

Beside, there will be Triumph International Exhibition and Fashion Shows heading on 1 utama coming weekend, both saturday and sunday.
